Top Flight Helicopters selected Sigma Digital in May 2016 to assist in the growth of the company’s social media reach and engagement. Top Flight Helicopters were looking to grow a community around their brand using social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google Plus. Sigma were also tasked with auditing the current company website and improving its SEO and User Experience (UX).
Following our initial audit and consultancy, Sigma Digital got to work on a website redesign and optimisation of the current website. With a great new website design that and increase
user experience, we then moved onto creating Top Flight Helicopters digital strategy.
We used the keyword research used to optimise the website to create a content marketing strategy that would assist with increasing search engine positioning for selected keywords and generate engaging content for social sharing.
During the UX phase we created several marketing personas that assisted us in audience targeting for Social Media Management (SMM). When utilising social media advertising we use personals to ensure that ads target the most relevant audiences increasing engagement and click through rate while reducing the websites overall bounce rate, increasing SEO score. Like Newton’s Third Law we believe that “For Every Action, there is an equal and opposite reaction”. Making sure that the call to action (CTA) is available and that everything from the website, to the blog posts, through to the social media works in synchronicity is an essential part of our digital strategy. Through everything working together we maximise exposure and limit the loss of potential future customers.
Following the redesign and optimisation of the website, content creation and social marketing strategy, Top Flight Helicopters have seen the following results.;
A 100% increase in social media engagement and reach across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter. Top Flight Helicopters now receive double their social reach compared with 6 months ago, using great content, imagery as well as video coupled with live streaming.
Top Flight Helicopters now have a solid online following and have built up a great community around the brand.
